INFARED SAUNA:

What to wear?
Come in loose, comfy clothes. You’ll still be warm afterwards so an outfit that’s easy to put on is very helpful.

But what about IN the sauna??
You can opt for a bathing suit or your birthday suit + a towel, it’s personal preference. The infared rays don’t penetrate through all types of materials, so we often say lay out your towel + in the buff is best. Some people also opt to wear a headband to keep their hair from getting too sweaty. We recommend laying your towel out on the bench and using a small washcloth to dab your face.

How do I prep?
WATER! Please hydrate before your session. This is an important step! After your sauna we recommend at least 24oz of water to replenish yourself.

Will I sweat?
YES. How much depends on your body, but expect a fair amount of sweat. We recommend taking a few moments after you get out of the sauna to towel off and let your body cool before getting dressed again. We have a facial toning mist to help cool your face + spray deoderant just in case. Think of what you look + feel like after a hot yoga class + this gives you an idea.

Do you have a shower?
We do not. Your towel and a few minutes to cool off are the keys to success.

What can I expect?
The sauna will be heated when you arrive. There is no humidity in the sauna, so it actually feels comfortable and less hot than you might expect… that “dry heat” sensation.

Many people experience better sleep the night of their session.

Can I combine it with another service?
YES! We love building custom packages or check our offerings page to see some common recommendations. You will complete your other service before your sauna to maximize relaxation + because of the sweat!
